The reason I even THOUGHT of it as a session was literally because my hands were up in the air, and I was screaming “I JUST WISH SOMEONE TO TOLD ME IT SUCKS!!!!!!!” I might have (at the time) used other language 🤬

 
 

I missed out on a potential $39,435

This is the story of why I wish I knew someone who offered this session

After my most recent launch of The Experience, I did my debrief and saw that 44 people who watched my free masterclass, bought one of my old offers, ‘The Experience’. So clearly the masterclass is a great way to help me make sales. That’s the point of running them right?

But then I looked at the analytics of my masterclass registration page… and they weren’t great.

The screenshot above shows that of the 1,565 people who viewed my registration page, only 17% of them actually said “yeah this looks like it’s good for me”, and signed up for the masterclass.

That’s not great. See, the average webinar [essentially what my masterclass was] registration page conversion rate at the time was 30% for cold traffic.

30%!!! And my traffic wasn’t cold traffic, it was WARM!!!!! So it should’ve been a lot higher than 30% let alone 17%. I was leaving money on the table FOR SURE. And it was all because of one page.

Let me show you what I mean.

Let’s pretend I was able to get that registration page optimised, so that 30% of people who viewed the page registered for the masterclass (the average amount).

That would look like:

Now. The confronting part.

So. The results of that launch was… 44 people out of 267 webinar registrants purchased The Experience. That equaled a 16.48% purchase rate, which generated approximately $52,580.

That was at a 17% registration page conversion.

But… what if my masterclass registration page was converting well, and getting 30% of the people who visited to sign up, instead of 17%.

That would mean I had 469 people join my masterclass. So what if I had the same purchase rate percentage (16.48%) of those 469 people….

I could have made 77 SALES from that masterclass!!!!!!!! (33 more sales than I did)

Generating $92,015, instead of $52,580 (an additional $39,435).

Just because I optimised that ONE PAGE!!!!!

If I knew someone who could tell me why that page sucked, I could have made it better and made way more sales (and sales = helping people… so that really sucks).

Ah, great question!! So glad you asked 😂.

Like you, I’m so deep in my own business that I can so easily miss things, and I need people with outside eyes who haven’t been so consumed by it to give me feedback.

I can SO easily put my marketing goggles on, pick other people’s stuff to pieces and optimise what they do. But myself? A very different story!

It’s why I wish the experts who I look up to run sessions like this. I would love someone else who’s not me, who’s not been working on the same thing for 3 months straight to look at it with fresh eyes, from a birds eye perspective and pick it APART!

  • I want someone to give me their first impression.

  • I want to see the confusion in their face when they look at things

  • I want to hear when things don’t make sense.

  • I want to know what all the holes are, what is missing, what information they skimmed over.

I can’t ever get my first impression back because I’m up to impression 500! And that first impression is what all of my customers are going to see. So I NEED it.

When you know what’s missing the mark, you can grow your business. I literally missed out on 10’s of thousands of dollars because no one was there to say ‘Trish, do better at this’ and tell me what sucked.

If you bury your head in the sand and hide from the information that will make your business better, you’ll stay where you are.

IMPORTANT: Even though I’m here to give you the truths and critiques, please know that I’m never EVER ‘nasty’ in my feedback. I’m giving you the critiques so you can do better. It’s never personal. You do NOT want a session where I pat you on the head and say ‘great job’.

What could you get told sucks?

Whatever you want. As big and broad or as niche as you want.

But… You have to know…

The bigger topic you want me to address, the broader and less deep my answers will be.

EG: If you ask me ‘What’s wrong with my business’, that’s a LOT to cover in half an hour so I won’t be able to get really specific and granular (though, that might be what you want).

Whereas if you want me to tell you ‘what sucks’ in a sales page you created, and I spend the half hour really psychologically and strategically pulling it apart, I’m going to be able to get nitty gritty and full on about it.

So it’s up to you.
